Steve and John completely transformed the bottom of our garden — turning an uneven, sloped area into a beautifully laid patio with a curved path. Every detail was done properly, with traditional birdbeak pointing (compared with the brush in stuff people like to use these days). Their craftsmanship and professionalism really shone through, and the result is a space we’ll enjoy for many years to come.

In just 7 days our tired, uneven and frankly embarrassing patio has been transformed into a thing of beauty. John and Steve are lovely guys who have an obvious passion for patios, a keen eye for design and a deep pride in their work. Everything ran like a well-oiled machine from the get-go. Nothing was left to chance, every detail was addressed, there were no surprises, and we were involved in every decision with sound advice that only comes from a lifetime of experience in landscaping.

They were unintrusive, hard-working, tidy, friendly, very highly skilled and managed to instil a wonderful level of trust that made the whole process a joy.

All in all, we couldn’t be happier with the result.

Steve and John were fantastic from the point of contact! Creative ideas, great advice and professional service; punctual, friendly, approachable, excellent communication and attention to detail… really skilled work and beautiful pointing! Our garden had rotting log roll and soggy or desert like grass depending on the season but is now a courtyard inspired sanctuary …. Far more wildlife and a delight to be in… a social space but also a little haven for me and the bees!

John and Steve worked hard every day, talking us through each step, making sure the garden fitted with our ideas, being thoughtful about tidying and neighbours and generally providing all round exemplary service. Steve & John were the best professionals from start to finish. They have totally transformed our drive & down the side of the house with their hard work & attention to detail. They were great to have working at the house and took great pride in the work they do. I have had SO many compliments from neighbours and people walking past. We asked Steve and John to create patio at the bottom of our garden around our summerhouse and the work the work they carried out was brilliant. Their attention to detail was superb and they were so polite, friendly and professional throughout. Any “mess” that was made was tidied up and they left the garden exactly as it was with the addition of the patio. And what a gorgeous patio it is!

They picked the tiles based on a rough colour we wanted – a grey to compliment the sage summerhouse – and they picked a beautiful colour and texture of tile. The brickwork around the edging was just as excellent.

We had Steve & John lay our patio about 5 years ago and when the time came that we changed our garage to a summer house we wanted a new garden path and a patio area to the front & side of the summerhouse. We are very pleased with our new patio fitted by Steve and John. They always turned up when they said they would and worked hard together. They listened to what we wanted, added their thoughts and just got on with it. The work included steps and a retaining wall, which they even discussed with the neighbour so he was happy his fenceline was not affected. Did a great job merging the new patio with an existing concrete path. They cleaned the drive once the skip was taken away so that it was cleaner than when they arrived. Gave good advice on maintenance and future cleaning. Very impressed with their work and attitude. Nice guys and we recommend them without hesitation.
